I’m Mariana, a Counsellor based in Brighton, Melbourne, supporting women through trauma and relationship challenges

I’m a Counsellor in Brighton, Melbourne with over 23 years of experience, now specialising in Mother and Daughter relationship challenges, and major life transitions for women.
Many of the women I work with are navigating complex mother–daughter relationships, childhood wounds, and are overwhelmed.
If this is you, you’re not alone — you don’t have to keep carrying it by yourself.
Now a little about me to help you decide if we might be a good match!
I work in a heart-centred way, bringing presence and conscious awareness in how I move through life and relate to others. I invite people to reconnect with the wisdom and intelligence of their heart, and to discover how its innate power can support healing, growth, and deeper self-understanding.

Areas of Focus
Trauma & Somatic Counselling (Melbourne)
Somatic counselling supports nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and healing from trauma responses including PTSD and complex trauma.
Mother–Daughter Relationship Work
Exploring relational patterns, emotional inheritance, boundaries, and identity formation within the mother–daughter dynamic.
As a daughter, mother of daughters, and grandmother, I am experienced and equipped to support women to navigate this relationship with compassion and/or forgiveness
Women’s Emotional Well-being
Supporting anxiety, self-worth, identity shifts, and relational challenges in a grounded therapeutic space. All of our emotions contain gifts and genius – and you can learn how to access their gifts to help you deal with difficult times or memories.
Life Transitions & Midlife Change
Navigating uncertainty, identity shifts, grief, and the process of redefining direction and self-trust. A time for deep reflection and re-defining or re-inventing oneself – of identity, purpose and relationships.
My Approach
My style is gentle, steady, and deeply attuned. I don’t rush your story or push you into places you’re not ready to go. Instead, we move at a pace that feels safe for you. I integrate Counselling with Clinical EFT, NLP and Somatic processes, helping women understand the deeper stories shaping their inner world. My approach is shaped by over four decades of personal growth, contemplative practice, and a lifelong dedication to inner exploration. I weave together academic learning, psychotherapeutic experience, Clinical EFT, energetic healing, epigenetics, and insights from new science in an integrated and holistic way.
This breadth of experience enables me to deeply understand the challenges of modern life and to guide others with empathy, insight, and practical support as they explore their own path toward healing and transformation
As part of my holistic approach to wellbeing, I offer Bioresonance and Light‑based modalities as optional, complementary practices. These gentle methods draw on more than 30 years of experience with mind‑body approaches, including EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), which many people use to support emotional regulation, grounding, and stress reduction.
I’m also continuing study of 52 Rose Frequencies—a reflective, symbolic framework that uses the imagery of the rose to encourage self‑awareness and inner exploration. Women often find this experience supportive in deepening their understanding of themselves and reconnecting with their feminine self and intuition.
These offerings are designed to sit alongside psychotherapy, providing space for insight, reflection, and personal growth within a safe and supportive environment.

than the risk it took to blossom”
